People who live in Alaska can only describe it in superlatives; for there is no other way to express how what you see effects your heart, soul and spirituality. It is a yearning for belonging, like a sprout drawn to the sun. It is food for our souls. It is fresh air in our lungs. It is our Serenity Prayer. It is our Portal to God.
